I mentioned in a previous post how I have been feeling less than energetic when it comes to writing. What I did not realize is that I am in the early stage of my "seasonal depression" - I hate this time of year. Some years are worse than others, and since finding my biological family, had not suffered quite as much.

I also did not realize how "alone" I have been since my sons went off to college. My eldest came home this weekend and it made me see just how much I miss my men being at home. We had a blast together. We attended a friend's wedding. We went out bar hopping (now that is a strange feeling hanging out with your child and watching him drink and watching the women go nuts over his fine self). I was the DD, so everyone had a great time, including me sober!!

I am thankful for his visit and he has no idea how much he changed my mood and my "state of mind". He has done that since his birth, without even being aware. I love and miss my sons.
